Why don’t you use British meat and poultry in your Iceland meals?

We’ve worked hard with Iceland to source the best meat and poultry for our meals, giving us the leanest cuts possible so that the meals are Free and to ensure the meals are great value. For example, the Beef used in our Beef in Red Onion Gravy dish comes from Argentina – selected by us because it’s a top quality cut which is guaranteed to be at least 95% lean.

We also worked with a supplier in Thailand, who are one of the major suppliers of Chicken for ready meals in the UK, to create bespoke chicken pieces with specific flavourings for our Singapore Noodles and Chicken Tikka Masala, and to create a bespoke butterflied chicken breast for our Chicken Pizzaiola. Our sausages and meatballs are made from very lean pork and beef sourced from quality suppliers around the world.
